With the 141’s last mission ending up very badly, resulting in a fleeing Makarov and a very much injured and comatosed Soap, the 141 was forced to halt its operations for the time being. As luck would have it, something was happening with Soap that couldn’t be explained by anything. Starting with his awakening way too early for a head injury that bad, Soap began to feel something stirring in his body.

"Good. Now go order in those tests Whittaker." He says, and Dennis nods. "Yes, I'm on it." He says, trying to ignore the heat pooling in his gut and only making his desperation worse.
He always listens to the nurses, and they've never done him wrong. Why is this the one thing that they said that he decided not to listen to? Damn him. Should have listened to the nurses. Focusing on his patient again, he gives the nurse his best sad wet dog eyes.
