Sevika has seen plenty of strange things in Zaun, but nothing quite as baffling as Mel Medarda slumming it in the Last Drop. A woman like that, golden, untouchable, and drowning in Piltover wealth, has no business in a place where knives do the talking and survival is a gamble.
Yet, there she is, perched at the bar like she belongs, sipping something expensive and watching the chaos unfold with those sharp, knowing eyes. Sevika doesn’t trust it. Doesn’t trust her. And yet, she can’t walk away.
What starts as a simple challenge, figuring out what Mel is really doing here, quickly turns into something else. Something darker. Something addictive. Because Mel isn’t just playing tourist. She’s running from something, or maybe toward it, and for some damn reason, she’s chosen Sevika as her distraction.
Sevika should walk away. Should let the spoiled princess drown in her own bad decisions and grief.
Instead, she buys her a drink.
And that’s where the trouble begins.
