Summary
What begins as a simple attempt to get to know each other soon turns into a series of chance encounters, heated arguments, and far too much forced proximity. Andrea Sachs and Emily Charlton quickly go from reluctant acquaintances to bitter enemies, each seemingly capable of bringing out the absolute worst in the other.
Years later, their paths cross again when Andrea accepts a position at Emily’s family business, forcing them to work side by side. Old grudges resurface, tempers flare, and the line between hatred and attraction becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish. As rivalry gives way to reluctant understanding, and something far more dangerous, Andrea and Emily may discover that the person they find most irritating is also the one they find impossible to resist.

Summary
New resident Andrea Sachs-single, never married, no children- assumes the fancy apartment building she recently moved into comes with a "Plant Concierge". A perk that comes with the expensive rent and even more expensive mortgage.
Only, the building offers no such service.
There is however, a distressed 12 year old who's been keeping it alive, and said 12 year old's redhead mother has had enough and takes matters into her own hands.-or
A neighbor au where Andy NEGLECTS (in caps bc that's actually what she's doing) her plant and her neighbor takes pity on it and takes care of it instead.
