There’s something captivating about how greedily Gilbert wants to make her feel good. She is buzzing at the sight of him on his knees in front of her, tongue darting out to wet his bottom lip.
He does this with the same curiosity he does everything else, dedicatedly learning her in ways she’d never dreamed someone would want to.

Prompted by comments on ffa: What if Kent slaps Jack … they're horsing around and Kent is on top, Jack has been trying to pin his hands to keep them out of the way and in the process of pulling one free, it hits Jack right across the cheekbone. Kent starts to apologize before he realizes that Jack when from kind of interested to hard as a rock in a split second.
I was very inspired and ran away with the whole scenario.

You don’t learn how to treat people right by doing it your whole life. Matt learned that one the hard way. You have to fuck up so you learn how not to next time. You have to make people cry, lash out a few times, forget to keep your pain inside, and then you step back and survey the damage and promise to not make the same mistakes again. The problem was Matt made so many different mistakes, and they were all against one person. There was no way to come back from that.
But he learned. That’s all that mattered.
