Summary
Beomgyu doesn’t know at what point things started to change and he failed to see and realise that even until now as he’s all grown up, there are still a lot of people who love and accept him for who he is.
But these days, Beomgyu’s been re-realising things, seeing once again that all the love he has received as a kid had never once gone away and in fact only grew bigger as he got to meet a lot more precious people in his life. He’s learning to see again what he’s looked past all these years—he’s loved and he’s special.

On the table, Liyu’s empty glass catches the yellow light. Beside it, Kaiwen’s vocab book lies half-open, the alien headband sliding lower and lower on his neck as he leans closer.
This encounter probably wasn’t much, just a late-night water break, an awkward attempt at learning Korean. But somehow, it feels like more. Like this is where they were supposed to end up tonight, colliding in the silent common room when the rest of the dormitory is fast asleep.

Liyu has to admit, he looked good that day with wind sweeping his hair to the side in his favorite Satur gray hoodie, but going semi-viral amongst his fellow B2PU students was unexpected. Not to mention being brought up in the same conversation with Lee Sangwon.
The Lee Sangwon. Who is one year older than Liyu, studies literature, and is arguably the most famous student across all campus— and also coincidentally the person Liyu currently has a crush on. Or obsession. Whatever drawing someone all the time in his notebook means.

“But you know I’m not just paying for the drinks. It’s the ambience—"
“—and the barista is, what, part of the lighting fixture?”
Not even art student Chuei Liyu’s sweet tooth can keep him from becoming a regular at the traditional teahouse where Lee Sangwon works. A victim of his own introversion, he has all but resigned himself to the unrequited nature of his infatuation. But as the awkwardness of their encounters slowly melts away, Liyu can’t help but wonder if there’s any truth to his friends’ teasing—if, perhaps, his affections aren’t as one-sided as he once thought.

Summary
As Liyu hands Sangwon his blazer, he feels far too exposed in just a shirt and tie. It’s like Sangwon can suddenly read all of him, from just the skin of his arms and shoulders. It’s partly ridiculous, but the silence doesn’t help. It’s not awkward, just… odd. The sound of running water is welcome to Liyu’s ears, and he watches as Sangwon scrubs at the coffee stain vigorously.
(If Liyu spends more time staring at his dainty hands, eyes tracing his pale fingers from his well-kept nails to his knuckles, then that's for him to know, and nobody else.)
Chuei Liyu spends too much time thinking about Lee Sangwon, and far longer convincing himself that he's only here to win.
