Summary
Last night, Ilya dreamed Shane served him divorce papers. They were making dinner when suddenly Shane pulled them out of the microwave and thrust them into Ilya’s hand. This isn’t working, he said. I’m divorcing you. No negotiations.
And look: of course Ilya understands that it was just a dream. The official divorce petition was a stack of sticky notes. Shane had faintly green skin and, Ilya is pretty sure, a third eye next to his left nipple. It obviously wasn’t real.

Summary
Getting a text from Ilya after games was far from out of the ordinary.
Even still, Shane had never gotten a post-game text from Ilya quite like the one he got today:
'Do not shower. Not even deodorant. Go straight home. I am waiting for you.'
Shane isn’t sure what to say. But. This is his fiancé’s order. And his fiancé is basically never wrong about anything (not that Shane would ever let him know), especially when it comes to sex. The fact that Ilya is demanding he come home right away makes Shane smile to himself. Ilya is so sexy when he’s possessive and impatient. They haven’t seen each other in three whole weeks.
So, despite the fact that Shane pushed himself incredibly hard tonight, sweating up a storm as he won his team the game in OT, Shane doesn’t shower.
OR; ilya has a thing for the way shane's sweat smells. lucky for him, shane is kinda in love with this freak.
