Summary
Oh.
She's taking her clothes off. Right now.
The flash of pale pink coming into his frame of sight suddenly makes the blood pounding in his ears rise from an entirely different emotional perspective. Bellamy's heart leaps up high and tight in his throat, a frenetic uproar of blood and attention and disbelief seizing his lungs with enough force to constrict any futile semblance of trying to breathe, relegated to little more than simply sitting by as his sister's seventeen-year-old-best-friend-maybe-girlfriend takes her underwear off in his fucking truck in the middle of their conversation after his meltdown.
"D'ya think having these will help?"

Summary
“Later?” Clarke grumbles blearily, half-asleep and stretching out unhelpfully as Bellamy stuffs a half-rolled scrap of repurposed bedding beneath the cradle of her pelvis.
The rough hand that abruptly cups the thin slice of underwear between her warm thighs make Clarke flinch a little, sleep-sweetened edges of awareness lending an extra dosing of pleasant frisson lapping down the length of her spine.
“Can't wait that long,” Bellamy complains, warm and calloused fingers tracing the soft outline of Clarke’s slit through the unremarkable fabric of her Ark-issued underwear. Pushy movements rolling the puffy lips of cunt with a practiced familiarity, a surprisingly patient motion meant only to get the blood pumping, enticing the soft wetness at the silken heart of her to blossom. Despite the ravenous tremble it ignites somewhere low and tender in the shaded reaches of Clarke’s being, the repetitive motion is almost enough to lull her back into a half-sleep of sorts.
“Need it now, baby. Please.”

Summary
Maybe it's a bad decision to leave the airport with Tyler, a childish desire to indulge in the narrow-lens focus of living day-to-day in hopes of finding something terrifying and beautiful, path forward solely dictated by the conventions of wind shear and relative humidity. But it's her bad decision, a covetous little act of rebelliousness against the strident perimeters of the fear that had once ruled Kate.
But, in truth, it doesn't feel like much of a bad decision to get back into his truck. Tyler felt like anything but a bad decision.

Summary
"We'll need lots of rules," Clarke whispers, a little too eager to feign believable hesitance. Jittery, aware of the looming disaster inevitably ahead and still willing to acquiesce. "Boundaries." It's hard to think straight, hard to pretend to be concerned with something as terrible as being away from each other when being so close; every shared exhale kicking up a tantalizing undercurrent of mouth-wateringly familiar scent.
"We can do that," He shrugs, shoulders lifting slightly in the peripherals of her vision; out of focus and secondary to the closeness of everything else. "We're, like, really good at being overly closed off anyways."
"I'm serious, Bellamy."
"And I'm the best option you have, Clarke."
"Fine," she grumbles after a moment, leaning her weight a bit more firmly against Bellamy and rubbing their noses together in a not-so-sullen admission of defeat, hand releasing its tight perch on her knees to instead grumpily fist the well-worn collar of his dark sweatshirt, "I'll move in with you."

Summary
“You could win an award when it comes to making my life so hard,” Bellamy complains, the hard line of his shoulder bearing uncomfortably into her belly as he makes to carry her down the hallway, “I literally do not understand. You hire me to help you balance out your magic, but you also do everything in your power to make everything harder on yourself. Which also means making everything harder on me.”
“It’s not my fault,” Clarke groans, blanket-wrapped feet slung awkwardly atop the air, precariously missing accidentally kicking down the atrocious amount of artwork lining the hallway, “Christmas is my busiest season- I can’t not work.”
Bellamy sighs, the rattling breath of passive frustration slipping into the soft muscle of her own belly, the uncomfortable position slung atop his shoulders cutting into the narrow expanse of her diaphragm. “You don’t have to not work, you just have to sleep. For once.”

Summary
Clarke had known that being chosen as a member of the first expedition to Earth in over two centuries was a one-way ticket. It was no secret that Chancellor Jaha, and the Council that backed him, expected the mission to fail despite having no other options. Not when the Ark was rapidly running out of resources after a near-catastrophic failure with the crops.
And Clarke, as a daughter of traitors, was deemed the most expendable of the medical staff aboard.
The planet below was once revered as humanity's home.
Too bad it kept trying to kill her.

"You want peace, but your people burned one of our villages to the ground. The king showed you mercy, and did not wipe your people out.
"You want alliance, but your people shot and killed two of our messengers, sent to broker with your leaders. Still, the king showed you mercy, and let your people live.
"You want unity, but you have bombed the only bridge for miles. The blast killed several of my men and injured my sister. You and your people, despite all claims otherwise, continue to threaten us.
"Now, the king is not here. And I am not so willing to offer you mercy."
