Summary
Clark found the body in the woods just before sunset, lying over the twisted roots of a tall tree with one hand pressed against a blood-soaked wound and black hair streaked white plastered by what appeared to be sweat on his pale forehead. He seemed familiar. His face strangely reminiscent of one of the heroes’ he used to admire back when he was younger and still welcomed in the Kingdom of Metropolis.
