Summary
Obanai is neat and fussy. Sanemi is rough and messy. Chemistry and Mathematics don't mix, and neither do they.
Order and control are Obanai Iguro's whole way of life, until he moves in with Sanemi Shinazugawa, a man who lives in perfect, infuriating chaos. Every day brings new arguments over mess, noise, and habits that clash at every turn.
But somewhere between the bickering and their no-frills living arrangement, things shift when one fateful encounter, Obanai sees something he can't unsee. He tells himself it's nothing. Just curiosity. Just hyperfixation. Just something he'll get over.

What should have happened when Obanai caught his best friend’s little brother purging was this: he should have made him stop and stayed home with him until Sanemi got back to make sure Sanemi knew what was going on with Genya so that Genya could get the help he needed because clearly he needed help.
He should have been horrified. He should have at least been worried. Instead, as Genya sputtered out excuses and pleaded with Obanai to not tell Sanemi between hyperventilate-y gasps, Obanai found that more than anything, he felt…oh, what was the word…
Un-lonely?
“You’re doing it wrong,” he interrupted, and ruined both of their lives.
