Summary
The gasp pulled itself from Five’s throat before he even realized that he was still alive, the pain flaring in his abdomen the only thing he registered for a few moments. Warm blood soaked through his clothes, steaming in the artificial winter air as he bled out, eyes shooting open only to stare up at the dusty rafters of the barn above him.
“Oh good!” Came the cheerful chirp from the Handler, her footsteps crunching over straw and rapidly melting snow. “You’re still alive.” He could hear the smile in her voice, the playful cadence leaping into her voice as she stalked over to his half-dead body. The gun in her hands swung like nothing more than a toy, some kind of doll, or even a fake pony on a leash.

“Come on, can’t Chuuya go any faster? You’re terrible at this,” Dazai fusses, just to rile Chuuya up more — and Chuuya is the idiot that, despite knowing, still falls for the needled words pricking his skin.
“Shut up,” Chuuya repeats, for the umpteenth time, yanking Dazai by the hair and hearing him whine, slapping him across the face not nearly hard enough for it to hurt as much as the brunette is acting like it did. “Did you forget which one of us has their hands free and which one doesn’t?”
“Did you forget who’s, mngh, b-bored out of his mind?” Dazai counters, his very tone gainsaying the falsity of his words — Chuuya knows Dazai loves this, because that’s how this always goes. They’re addicted to each other. Like two candles joined by one wick, they can only burn together.
“Hah, your body and moans are contradicting you, Dazai,” Chuuya smiles, smug, as if he’s won. But really, there is no winner on nights like these.
“Says the one who was kissing me so desperately,” Dazai shoots back, keeping their bickering animated.
“Don’t pretend you didn’t like it,” Chuuya growls.
Dazai and Chuuya's partnership comes with many complications.

This is originally a whumptober prompt: Tear-stained that I randomly found and decided to write a Kunizai fic. The age regression tag is there just in case only if you squint!!!
Face to face with the mirror he now understood what the problem was. His face had a light blush and his cheeks were tear-stained. He rubbed his cheeks with his sleeves, the action making him seem and feel younger, much younger than he is and then proceeded to pour water on his face.
