“I am fine, GP,” says Max. He still sounds suspiciously not-fine. He puts the Red Bull down on the table and then he glances a quick gauging glance back to Gianpiero. Says, “It’s just this stupid body and these stupid hormones,” a little venomous but not venomous at Gianpiero; venomous the same way as when he doesn’t like his own laps in qualifying, when he thinks he could have done better, done more. Torn out the last tenth.

Summary
As soon as Max unclips Nino’s lead he starts running all over the place, excitement overflowing, until Max throws his favourite squeaky ball. Nino begins to dart after it, but on his way he takes a sudden detour, veering off at full speed towards the only other man on the beach. He is lying in the morning sun with his headphones on, so he doesn’t even see the sausage dog-shaped torpedo headed his way.
