If he ignores Bojan’s voice for long enough, acts like he isn’t in the apartment that they all know he hasn’t left in days, it will go away. Nevermind that it’s Bojan, and he’s about as stubborn as the day is long. Even he has to give up at some point, once he realizes Jan is unreachable, that the Sword of Damocles stopped swinging only because it fell when the apartment door shut two days ago.
(jan doesn’t know how to love and be loved at the same time. nace teaches him he can have both, if he wants it.)

Jan choose a direction of his life the moment he walked out of his parents house and cut all contact with them. He didn't want anything to do with them, or God anymore.
