Silently, he frowned. “What’s so funny?” Kaeya wiped the tears forming under his eyes, still softly laughing. “You’re so serious about it, Albedo,” he huffed out, breath still shaky after his little fit. “It’s not like I’m dying tomorrow.”
“You,” he pointed at Albedo, “should loosen up a bit. If someone sees us they might think that you’re the patient here.” Despite that, the frown on his face stayed.
“You’re insufferable.” He finally said it.
“That’s what they all say,” Kaeya winked.

If you asked Donghyuck how he became friends with Mark, he'd say it was an accident. If you asked Mark how he became friends with Donghyuck, he'd say it was a coincidence. If you asked Jaemin - or any of their friends, for that matter - he'd say it was the universe's way of bringing destined souls together. Because from how fast they clicked, there is no way Mark and Donghyuck are anything but soulmates.
There´s only a little problem: Mark is a vampire and he is in love with his human best friend, Donghyuck. And maybe Mark is not dumb but he sure is dense as fuck. Trouble ensues.

But what happens when he finds out that he had basically robbed Mark of his chance at happiness with the one he truly loved because of their arranged marriage?
All Donghyuck wanted was for Mark to have his happy ending, whether it was with him or not.
