Let's just say the manga is finished and everyone is happy and well. Let's just say I get my fill of Shin Soukoku and Akutagawa gets his coat back from that incident.
"Why.. do you still have my coat?"Because it doesn't make sense for him to keep the coat, his ability wasn't being able to control this specific black coat but rather clothing in general. Preferably black. But that's beside the point. Akutagawa's migraine wants more attention. Atsushi stops fiddling with the lapels of the (his!) jacket, his face turning slightly pink. His eyes shift, purple-gold flickering between the bedsheets and his lap.
"I-I.. Uh..." Atsushi stammers and quietly responds. "It.. protected me... Rashomon.. that is...."

Suddenly, he watches as Atsushi stands up, stripping his tattered coat and placing it in the space between the two. Akutagawa glances up, eyes undisturbed as Atsushi stares down at him, his brows furrowed with a thin line on his face. Akutagawa can feel his own eyes narrowing."Don't die."
