One of my favorite works of all time. Pulls off the soulmate trope brilliantly, on account of Jack and Connor having real issues they need to work through—a really nice reminder that enduring love isn't a feeling, isn't something that happens To us, isn't passive and easy, it's an active choice. The ending of this fic kills me EVERY TIME. So, so good, and so perfectly fitting.
