Summary
It's been three years since the spree of massacres in 1994, and things have (believe it or not), improved for Shadyside. Some people attribute it to the death of the Sunnyvale Serial Killer, while others think it's because the "witch's curse" has finally been lifted. Sylvie Harlowe has never believed in curses, and her life hasn't really changed all that much. It still sucks just as much as it always did.
Unfortunately for her, curses are very real. And life is about to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.
