Summary
It's the winter of 1915, and war has been raging across the world for a whole year. Jean Kirschtein, a conscientious objector, is sent from London by his concerned parents to avoid the scandal brewing in his wake. He arrives in Dartmoor, a place far removed from anywhere else he's known, in the hopes of working the land to help with the war effort. However, upon arrival at the farmhouse he meets a familiar face - another boy, who he met back home in awkward circumstances, also not fighting.
As Jean tries to keep his own feelings in check, he begins to wonder if the other boy is feeling quite so conflicted...This is my submission for the JMGE 2017 for Daringstars.

Summary
Jean Kirschtein is not entirely sure why they need someone to clean the pool when no-one ever seems to swim in the darn thing, but when his socialite mother just can't stop ogling the new pool boy, Jean realises she might not be the only one.
Apparently balancing a growing relationship with the freckled pool boy is harder than it looks, when coupled with a more than dysfunctional family life, a cheating scumbag for a father, and a seriously lonely existence.
An AU of equal measures fluff and angst featuring pool cleaning, roof-top smoking, lots of parental problems, and mainly shirtless Marco.

Having recently moved to New York to work in the booming stock market of Wall Street, Jean Kirschtein's feeling pretty cynical about life. He is also stuck in an over the top shindig of a place slowly drinking himself into a stupor. This changes, however, when he catches sight of an apparently well-known author watching him from across the room. And obviously, one thing leads to another...Oneshot for now. I have ideas about mayyybe making it multi-chaptered but it's not my top priority :)

Summary
Jean has long thought Marco Bodt, his best friend and maybe something more, to be long dead, and he thought, maybe, that he'd made his peace with it. That was how life was, as a soldier. People die, and people don't come back.
But after a report comes in from spy stationed in Marley, he learns that might not be the case.
Jean quickly realises that dead things have a bad habit of not staying dead, and that it takes a thousand times longer to put things back together than it takes to break them apart.

Jean never had a lot of friends; he's too brash and loud and seems too arrogant, so most of the other kids in his school avoid him. But at least there's someone, something, he can always count on to be there when he comes home exhausted and feeling lonely. It's always been there, since he could think, and even though he was scared of it at first he's come to find its presence oddly soothing and calming by now.
