Summary

The whole Gaang have thrown themselves into the Restoration Projects but after a while Katara starts to feel useless and unwanted among the Air Acolytes. She wants to be helpful and be a woman in her own right. Then Zuko makes her an offer she can't refuse, the position of Southern Water Tribe Ambassador. Suddenly the world looks decidedly purple.

She finds Zuko first.
The flame that perpetually lurks underneath his flesh is gone. Katara sucks on a choked breath, desperately raking her eyes down her husband's submerged, supine form. He looks deathly pale in the cerulean blue waters. She knows he must feel just as cold.
Or, Katara is the last one standing.
