yoongi sometimes forgets he exists. he can’t remember when it started, only that it makes him feel like a ghost sometimes.
in an attempt to feel alive again, he quits his shitty bartending job, bleaches his hair a new colour, and gets on a bus with his entire life savings in an adidas duffel bag.
he plans to buy a car and drive across the country until his money runs out. and then he plans on taking his life by dancing with a train out in the middle of nowhere.
he doesn’t plan on some random stranger named taehyung trying to tag along.

he finally asked taehyung about his future plans.
“oh, the usual, i suppose,” taehyung sighed, a little dreamily, “fall in love, settle down in a nice house with a dog — maybe have some kids, i don’t know yet.”
yoongi had started eating his own sandwich and he scowled at taehyung as he spoke. he would have spat a mouthful of soggy cheese and bread at him except he was too hungry to sacrifice even that.
“i mean…” he growled, “what are your plans for the rest of the day. like, are you getting out of my fucking car or not?”
“not!” taehyung answered cheerily, and then added, “also, you’ve left your coffee on the roof.”
