Summary
On a day no more special than the rest, Nicholas and Euijoo sat in the latter's painting studio. It was something they had done countless times before, and yet it was different.
Nicholas felt full of tension that he hadn't previously felt. Just looking at Euijoo filled him with a cacophony of emotion. Life had been grey before, but a switch had been flipped at some point and now Nicholas saw everything in color.
It felt stupid. Euijoo was just sitting there, the same as ever, staring at paint drying and unknowingly starting a fire within Nicholas' mind.
A tale of unprecedented emotion and the descent into madness. A story of no real importance. Prose lost to time.

Summary
A sharp taste, dripping with the essence of magic, suddenly blossomed in Vergil's space.
Quicker than one could blink, the pen was switched out for the Yamato, Vergil changing his position to that of a crouched ready stance in one fluid motion. His sharp gaze was immediately drawn to the demonic presence he could feel, spotting the form of a person not too far from him. They were crouched as well.
Two pairs of eyes of the same shade of blue met in the dim darkness. Recognition flared to life in both of them.
“It’s you…”

It would be so much easier to parse through if he just grew up normal like any other kid... but alas, even a devil has his demons.
They have to act quickly, however, because this silent enemy has proven itself not only quick but ruthless. With this killer's sick fascination in child's blood, the unorthodox family of hybrids has to move fast before he begins to target someone a little closer to home.
