Hm. Well, whatever being was holding control over Chara’s mind, it must have been doing to the same to this human’s body. If they reset now, this human wouldn’t be under the control of that entity anymore. If they reset, Chara could guide them to Asgore! The monsters already have six souls, right? It seemed most monsters were hunting for the last human anyway, so it wouldn’t be too hard to find one competent enough to bring the soul to Asgore.
Even if they’d never be alive enough to truly enjoy it, even if no one would know they helped, Chara had to make it up to monsterkind. They’ve suffered so much at Chara’s hand, it’s time for Chara to finally repent. They would fix it. They had to.
For Mom, for Dad,
For Asriel.
“Greetings, Human. I am Chara,” they said, “and I think we are going to be best friends.”

Basically, post-geno route Chara takes the red soul and defeats the player, then resets to try and not get anyone killed this time.

Have you ever wondered? I mean, just in general. All of these thoughts about characters, plots, ideas touched upon that were never explored. But you wannnnaaaaa explore them! Because character deaths make you sad. Sometimes, one might get arrogant or silly enough to think that their own writing could be on par with that of a paid professional with a team backing them up. That's what we can an "IF Story," or more overtly, fan fiction. So I ponder to the internet void, what would've happened if the motive for chapter 3 of Danganronpa V3, the revival of a student, were used?
