“I am honest with you.” Satoru furrowed his eyebrows. “I’ve— well, I was honest with you my whole life. I’m pretty sure you know that.”
“Of course I know that, Satoru, but that’s not what I’m talking about.” Suguru sighed, slightly pushing his own bento box to the corner of their table so he could put down his arm. “That whole big talk about dying with no regrets as a Jujutsu sorcerer…did you really mean it? That you had no regrets before dying?”
Satoru froze in place, feeling naked as Suguru's piercing violet orbs shot through him with a familiar, intense gaze that he’d been a victim of countless times before during their student days. He slumped his shoulders as he exhaled.
“Nothing ever gets past you, huh?”
In which Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto finally get the chance to be honest with one another in a strange yet placid afterlife airport food court.

“Yeah! Oh, my name is Gojo Satoru, by the way.” He hides the hurt behind his teeth, his grin wide and friendly. He thought he’d only have to introduce himself once to someone he called his best friend. It’s strange to repeat words from more than a decade ago to the same person. “You can call me Satoru.” He hopes he calls him Satoru.
“I’m Geto,” he says back. You were Suguru to me, Gojo thinks. “Nice to meet you, Satoru.”
“Nice to meet you, too.” He leans against the wall beside him, tries to look nonchalant as he does. “So, do you come here often?”
Geto thinks Gojo is just a lonely guy who wants friends. Gojo just wants to know if he remembers him, even just a little bit.
