Summary
"About that," Morgana said, jumping into the middle of the table. "We discovered something that you guys are going to want to see. Show them, Ren."
With everyone's attention on him, Ren simply placed his phone on the table, sliding it into the middle so the others could see. It was the metanav app open to a palace search screen with Akechi's name on it, and big red letters indicating there was a hit.
.....................
With the deadline of election day looming over them, the Phantom Thieves learn that Akechi also has a palace.

Summary
When Goro opens his eyes, the first thing he thinks is: fuck. Because the fact that he’s opened his eyes at all means that he’s failed. God, what a cruel joke. It’s just his luck that he’s somehow managed to die thrice in less than a year and survive all three times.
The second thing he thinks is: why the hell is Niijima Sae here?

Summary
Akihiko only rolled his eyes, a reluctant smile spreading across his face, “don't encourage him. He needs to learn to stop cussing people out immediately…”
Akihiko trailed off, steps faltering as a man turned the corner ahead of them. His head was ducked low, shoulders hunched like he knew he shouldn't be there. He shouldn't be there. He shouldn't be there-
***
Akihiko thought he was free from his father. That the evil man from his nightmares couldn't hurt him anymore. Suo and Sakura are there to make sure he doesn't.

Summary
Ukyo does not get angry. He feels fear, or mild irritation, but anger? No, not Ukyo. He is the calm one, the level head to the four beast's roaring spirits.
So then. How have things devolved so fast?
“I will flay you if you move one step closer, Nanami Ryusui,” he says, eyes hollowed into frigidity. He holds out an arrow like a blade, and he radiates the message that his resolve is strong enough to use it.
