Summary
Maidens gifted with a rose pendant are coveted things in Castle Dimitrescu by the Lady and her daughters. It could mean change is coming for the castle's inhabitants if the maiden lives long enough, but no one knows if it's good or bad.
You've always been seen as a black sheep by the Village growing up and it looks to have followed you to Castle Dimitrescu as you start your first year of service to the Lady of the Castle. Most of the staff seem to have it out for you or are willing to turn a blind eye. Your only saving grace is that you've somehow managed to pique the interest of the Lady of the Castle, earning you the first rose necklace of a decade. If you thought that would cause the other maids to leave you alone, you were sorely mistaken as a select few want to correct the Lady's mistake in thinking you were something.
All you want to do is figure out if your Lady likes you because you don't always know when to keep your mouth shut and she finds it a novel quirk of yours or if she has similar feelings for you like you've recently discovered you have for her.
