Summary
What doesn’t kill you makes you weird at intimacy.
This fic explores dissociation, post-traumatic healing, and sex; the discomfort of having to be embodied to fully accept intimacy. What it means to seek pleasure after trauma // how trauma sometimes becomes directly written into our pleasure.
It imagines how not to give up on relationships despite rough patches. ItaFushi are in their mid-20s & just trying to figure out life after all the shit I put them through in the last fic. Oh, and they love each other a lot (obviously).
Can be read as a stand-alone fic despite references to things from the previous two (“I’ll Find Forgiveness in Your Heartbeat” and "Last Night in London")

It’s as if God looked through his deleted search history and created a six-foot-three, baby-face, pink-haired Adonis, with a rack of abs that his tight athletic shirt clings to, just for him to drool at. Summary
