“Haaaggghhh!” Simon groans, immediately pushing himself out of his chair and rounds his desk with an unmistakable glower on his face. His heels clack on the floor as he starts to pace, clenching and unclenching his fists to keep his temper from overtaking him.
He hasn’t allowed himself to think about it. He knows he’s hiding like a juvenile tot with this, he’s...allowed himself to ignore his better judgements. Ignore everything he’s read up on avoidance and suppression just to give himself this one mercy. Athena has begun to notice his behavior, of course she has, but even she has not been able to psychoanalyze his secrets out of him yet. Because he does not want to think about it.
Not when it all happened because he’d been completely, utterly, made a fool of.
