Radiant Tamtey, shining like a woodsprite, the heart of what’s left of the clan. Tamtey, the warrior. Tamtey—The Sarentu—was currently suspended only inches from the forest floor, propped up by thick, mossy vines. Blood leaked down her back like the morning dew.

When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

The Mangkwan are gone and Wukula is finally dead.
Still, Tamtey cannot breathe easy. With the fighting over, the quiet only leaves room for her own head to spin. Somewhere along the way, So'lek stopped being just the mentor who taught her about Pandora. Now, she looks at him and wants something else. Entirely.
Does he feel that pull too? Or does he only see her as a lost Sarentu under his care? Maybe she is imagining it all, knotting a misplaced bead into a songcord where it never belonged.
Then again, what if she isn't wrong?
