“Okay fair, but actually, can you imagine me speaking in your accent?” Jayce dissolved into laughter. Viktor made a face.
“Oh god, that would be eerie.”
Jayce’s hilarity continued. “And spinning across the lab in a desk chair, just sticking my hand out with no explanation whenever I need a tool.”
Viktor rolled his eyes. “Could you imagine me signing every page of my notes? Or inadvertently breaking a model we spent five hours on because I wanted to, and I quote, ‘See if it was earthquake-resistant’?”
“You are literally never going to let me live that down.” said Jayce. “First of all, that was a valid scientific experiment, crucial to the structural stability of our work. Second of all, it was one in the morning and I hadn’t eaten all day. Which was… whose fault?”
