“Okay fair, but actually, can you imagine me speaking in your accent?” Jayce dissolved into laughter. Viktor made a face.
“Oh god, that would be eerie.”
Jayce’s hilarity continued. “And spinning across the lab in a desk chair, just sticking my hand out with no explanation whenever I need a tool.”
Viktor rolled his eyes. “Could you imagine me signing every page of my notes? Or inadvertently breaking a model we spent five hours on because I wanted to, and I quote, ‘See if it was earthquake-resistant’?”
“You are literally never going to let me live that down.” said Jayce. “First of all, that was a valid scientific experiment, crucial to the structural stability of our work. Second of all, it was one in the morning and I hadn’t eaten all day. Which was… whose fault?”

Summary
It's as predictable as the laws of physics: a Piltover golden boy should despise a starving inventor from the undercity. But when Viktor's tipped off to a scholar buying strange materials in the Lanes, he's desperate enough to sneak topside and propose a deal. He's not expecting to break every rule he's learned to live by for a man who needs him just as much.

Summary
Lonely private eye Jayce Talis was just another lost soul in the City of Angels. Then a glamorous antiques dealer arrived in Los Angeles hunting a treasure somebody was willing to kill for. Jayce’s best lead is a picture of a tattooed girl with braids, and his new partner is the man who took it: a photographer with one foot in the underworld and a face to die for.

Summary
After it's all said and done, Jayce and Viktor wake up on the other side — lost in the middle of a thick, vibrant jungle. They're together. They're alive. They should be happy. But Viktor’s connection to the Arcane isn't making things easier. Summary
After Vi and her siblings break into Jayce Talis's apartment, a disastrous explosion leaves Jayce expelled from the Academy and Vi facing a prison sentence. Until Jayce intervenes and convinces Heimerdinger to release her.
Silco, feeling indebted to the man who saved his daughter, sends Viktor to try and convince him to become a new scientist down in Zaun.
Instead, Jayce and Viktor form an unlikely friendship and begin work on Hextech together, setting both Piltover and Zaun on a course that will forever change both cities.
