She's standing in the pond, knee-deep and barefoot, her flat-sole shoes left aside by the edge of the bank. One hand is used to hold up the edges of her two-tone blue dress while the other is dipped below the surface of the water, gently swirling, almost teasing.
(This story follows the assumption that Connor has two AIs running within him. We already knows what happens between Connor and Amanda so this story focuses on the other side, instead.)

Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira survived with only weapons on their backs and disjointed records collected in their journey to survive another day, and yet they are unprepared to grapple with the questions that come with a changed world that placed value on diseased bodies as instruments of war and capital.
Jill and Carlos arrive to different conclusions to those questions, and those conclusions are good enough for the next five minutes into the future.
