Nat gapes, mouth fully hanging open in almost comical shock and disbelief. Or at least, it would be comical anyway, if it weren’t completely fucking justified.
“Let me get this straight. You want me to…”
Nat trails off, unable to even finish the thought, apparently. Instead, she points, finger hovering accusingly in front of Van’s nose-
“With Van?!”
Or: Nat's going into heat, as much as she really fucking wishes that were not the case. Fortunately, Tai has a plan. Unfortunately, Van and Nat would both rather die... but that's just too bad.

Nat, against her better judgement, took Jackies warm, soft hands into hers and pulled her up into a sitting position. “I’ll make you a deal. I make sure you become as cool and interesting as possible and beat the fate that Shauna so nicely laid out for you, and in return you promise to shut up about her forever okay. I can’t take any more of this love-sick heartbroken rambling, and it’s barely been three hours.” Jackie looked slightly startled by this but started nodding along after a second.
“Great, then let’s get up and find you someone to bang before college truly starts because you’re right, you should not show up here a virgin.”
