He just breathes heavy out his nose. “Connor… C’mon. That’s not love. That’s… this is, like… a fucked up hobby. Can’t ya just get into trains or somethin’?”
Connor presses on regardless. “Increased processing priority-- similar to spikes of dopamine. Feedback loops. Sometimes brought on by involuntary memory recall. She made my stomach churn--”
“Connor, that’s not butterflies. That’s synthetic bile!”
“...it was a working theory.” A tad defensive.

“What a useless skill to have.”
“That sounds like an excuse,” she teases.
