Summary
Sam and Dean give Chuck the final showdown that he wants. But once Sam’s gun goes off and Dean is lying on the pavement with a bullet in his head, Chuck is disappointed. In frustration, he disappears, leaving them alone at last.
Castiel is pulled from the Empty and thrown back onto Earth with Dean, only Chuck’s final, sick joke is that he hasn’t made their reunion easy. Cas is stuck sixteen years in the past with 25-year-old Dean, John, and no way of getting back to where he belongs.
Meanwhile, back in 2020, Dean awakes in the hospital with no memories of who he is or his past.

Summary
A week after Jack left, he brought Castiel back from the Empty — whole, alive, and standing in front of Dean like nothing had changed, though everything had. Dean’s grateful. Of course he is. But now that Cas is here, really here, Dean is left face-to-face with everything unsaid between them. He knows what Cas confessed before dying, and worse — he knows damn well what he feels in return. But saying it out loud? That’s another story entirely, because there's something broken inside of him.
Dean asks Cas for something no one’s ever asked of him before: to go back in time, to the moment something broke, and stop it from happening. Stop the moment that taught Dean to be afraid of what he wanted most. Stop the moment Dean got broken.
Stop John Winchester.

Summary
“Story's over,” Chuck says, “Welcome to The End.”
And with that everything goes dark and cold. The darkness and rot of souls and bodies surrounds them. He doesn’t dare touch Jack again, just stares at his lifeless body lit only by unnatural moonlight. He’s vaguely aware of the threat slowly encircling them, but none of it matters. Nothing matters anymore. Somewhere, something deep inside of him-not his earthly body but his true angel self-awakens. It’s a type of power and heat he hasn’t felt in years. It’s uncontrollable and unforgiving. Light and righteousness and fury coalescing into something terrifying. Castiel lets out a scream, an anguished cry from his human mouth and a piercing angelic shriek, and with it releases whatever it was that had been growing within him. When he feels it leave, his consciousness finally returns to the present, to the Earth and to his vessel and to Sam and Dean and to Jack and it’s light out again. The sun is shining just as it was minutes ago, and there is no sign of any dark forces around them. No ghosts, no zombies, no demons, just two men, an angel, and the body of a dead Nephilim.

Summary
“See, the humans, they were designed to think for themselves, to think they had a say in anything. It was pathetically endearing to watch them try and change their silly little destinies. But the Angels… You were supposed to do what you were told, obey your Father and trust that what I said was… well, Gospel. But you, Castiel, have been a stone in my shoe from day one. At first it was fun watching you constantly fight against everything I had planned for you and have you die, only for me to bring you back to watch you fail all over again. But now it seems you have infected the entire crop. I think it’s about time I learn from my mistakes and delete those errors, don’t you? Is that not what a responsible creator would do?”
Team Free Will 2.0 is trying to learn about Chuck and how to defeat him. They come across where he's living and inadvertently run into him. Chuck decides that he is fed up with Castiel never doing what he's told and decides to delete the remainder of the Angels, one at a time. Cas has to feel each and every loss. What will happen when he's the only one left?
