Summary
“Wanna head back home?” Eddie seemingly purrs over the music into Steve’s ear, his fingers inching up under the fabric of his sleeve to pet at freckled skin.
It could be wholly innocent, the way Eddie’s leaning into him. If anyone was to glance over, it would look like a roommate who was maybe drunk bracing himself on the other man for support. But the words cut through to Steve’s core, fill his veins with ice only to be melted away by the fire of what the night promises.
“Don’t-” Steve starts, turning to glare at him. “You can’t just say that, dude. There’s people everywhere.”

“Okay, time out,” Steve says behind him.
“Hmm?” Eddie asks. He blinks long and slow, his lashes getting tangled, his gaze still caught on the bottle of lube. His eyes feel like cotton.
Steve kisses his shoulder. “You're too high; we should wait a little bit.”
“No, but I- I want-'' he huffs, frustrated, because he’s too stoned to articulate what he wants. It’s all a vague jumble of wanting in his head: wanting to touch and be touched, to be held and loved and fucked. To be consumed. Fondness in its filthiest form.
“Eddie.”
