Mickey sighed and shoved the palms of his hands into his eyes as he felt that all-too-familiar prickly feeling right in the corners. Fuck that. He was not about to cry. That shit was for late at night after Damon was asleep when, in the safety of the dark, he allowed his mind to wander to places of his brain that were usually strictly off-limits. Red fuckin’ hair, strong arms holding him, a smile that was just a little too big, missed phone calls, blank stares, a conversation on a porch...
Nope. None of that fuckin’ mattered anymore, Mickey told himself, grabbing the letter and shoving it under his mattress.Or, Mickey and Ian begin communicating again after their breakup, mostly through letters back and forth.
