Summary
His dad's girlfriend was sweet for wanting to help Minho find a boyfriend, going as far as roping her own daughter into bringing over a friend for him to connect with. She meant well, she did.
So maybe that’s why he said it. It was true that he didn’t have time for dating with graduation so soon, but he definitely didn’t have time to disappoint Dahyun, who patted the top of his dad’s head like they were teenagers, Dahyun who managed to place an uncharacteristic pink blush across his dad’s cheeks.
“I’m dating someone,” he’d said.
And without further question or doubt, Dahyun replied, “Oh, then bring him to scary movie night with you. If in the horror movie of our life we decide he dies later than your dad, I approve.”

Summary
Being bound to your soulmate by the sense of taste isn't the worst thing in the world, although if you were to ask Lee Minho he would strongly disagree. Summary
Minho's used to silence. He's used to the way the villagers avoid his eyes when they visit him asking for help, the way they look at him with fear and distrust when they think he can't see. He's used to his world being the sprawling garden within the old ivy-covered iron fence and the familiar warmth of the cottage. He's used to it just being him, his cats, and the old journals.
It isn't until a villager somehow wanders into the garden despite the enchantments that he's faced with how unbearably isolated he's become, or how hard it is to open up to someone after years of being alone— or how freeing it is to know someone understands him.

Summary

The car was stashed just up the road. He’d stuffed cash from his last twelve shifts at the diner into a cardboard VHS sleeve. Duct-taped under the passenger’s seat.
He thought about those nights half a year ago when they’d lie on the hood of Minho’s car and talk about what-ifs. What if we lived on the run and made songs no one heard. What if we were outlaws. What if we slept curled together like prey animals and learned to be invisible.
