Summary
Azriel is burnt-out, exhausted, and maybe a little lonely. His friends are all moving on with their lives without him, and they're also leaving all of their work for him to deal with.
He can deal with it, though. He's not going to hit a breaking point or run himself into the ground trying to keep up with it all. Definitely not.
That's what they're keeping him around for, right? If he's not helping, if he's not working hard enough, keeping himself worthwhile... are they even going to want to want him around?

Summary
“Are my sisters in?”
Nuala licked her lips nervously then looked slightly over her shoulder. “No, I’m sorry. Lady Elain is out at the shops with my sister, and the High Lady is--,”
“The High Lady is, most unfortunately, held up with the City Council this afternoon,” the arrogant, irritatingly familiar voice interrupted as its owner seemingly materialized from the shadows of the front hall. “But any petition you wish to bring to your High Lady may, of course, be brought to me in her absence.”
Nesta wanted to slap the smug smirk off her brother-in-law’s much too perfectly proportioned face. Instead, she turned to Nuala and said, “Please let them know that I called. I will try again tomorrow.”
***
Nesta has important news. Rhysand is most definitely not the person she wants to share it with.

Summary
Geralt was an idiot. And he was half an hour early. And this was a mistake - this was a mistake, and he should just go home. Delete the app. Forget this ever happened. He was sure BrattyMusician would find someone else, he seemed nice enough after all. It would all be-
“SecretTeddyBear?” Geralt looked up in surprise, finding the man who must be BrattyMuscian standing in front of him, smiling at Geralt from where he stood awkwardly beside the cafe door.
“Sorry, you’re earlier than I thought you would be, my shift isn’t over until 3.”
“Oh.” He worked here. Obviously, since he was wearing the apron with the same logo as the door. Geralt looked down at Roach, feeling awkward.
“Here, do you mind sitting outside? I’ll grab you a tea, and a bowl for your dog.” He pulled out a chair, gesturing to it until Geralt slowly stepped forward and took a seat. Then the man beamed at him. “I’m Jaskier, by the way.”
“Geralt… and Roach.”
Jaskier smiled, his eyes dancing between him and his dog. Then he said, “I’ll be back in a tick,” and winked at him before he walked away.

Summary
“I’m your lover from a past life,” said Geralt.
“Oh,” said Jaskier. “Okay. Well. I’ve heard a lot of pick up lines in my time but that, that’s a new one on me, actually.”
“It’s not a pick up line.”
“It’s not?” Jaskier sat dubiously back in his chair. “So. Are you – not trying to pick me up?”
Geralt looked askance. “I guess it’s a pick up line.”
Geralt and Yennefer live forever; Jaskier lives again, and again. It takes him a while to come around to the idea.
