It was barely noon but it had already been a long day. Benn Beckman slowly blew out his cigarette smoke after taking a long drag. They were at the Captain's current favourite local bar after yesterday's partying had finished all the booze. Shanks himself, unfortunately, was not there.
Most days, he felt more like a babysitter than a pirate but, he supposed, that was his own fault because he had chosen Shanks as his captain.

Erei had known about Luffy, of course - after all, he was the reason she had knowledge at all - but she decided not to reveal that to Garp. It would be great to bring up Luffy to the bandits so Ace and Luffy would both be less lonely but Luffy had Makino and she had to let Luffy meet Shanks. So she kept quiet about him and went down to Windmill Village every once in a while to meet him in secret and strike up a friendship with Makino.

It was addressed to Kagami and Himuro who had graciously cooked their meal.

The thing about immortality that nobody ever considered, Marco mused, was the sheer awkwardness of trying to socialise with people born in the latest century. He remembered enough about the start of his life to recall that he had always been a bit more mature than his peers (which had made it hard to connect with them) but adding a millenia or two to that only made things that much harder. At least, he thought, watching his drunken brothers make fools of themselves trying to impress the women in the bar, some things were universal.

The first thing that registered in Sabo’s mind when he regained consciousness was just how heavy he felt. He was so overcome with exhaustion that he couldn’t even move. He felt swelteringly hot and he could barely breathe due to all the pressure. The second thing that registered was that actually, part of that heaviness that was keeping him from being able to move was the two warm bodies that were pressing him down into the floor. And the realisation of exactly who was making him feel like he was being crushed by an elephant made him relax so completely that it felt like he had gone boneless.He was finally with his brothers again.
