"Yes." He responded dryly.

"Pathetic?"
"Troubled. With…emotions. Pained with misery."
Hans huffed.
"Oh, you're a poet now?"
Henry chuckled, shaking his head.
"That was hardly poetic. Wait." He looked at Hans as if a thought had appeared in his head. "Is it of an amorous nature?"
Hans did his best confused frown. He should become an actor at this point.
"Of what nature?"
"Oh, so it is!"
Maybe not an actor, then.
----Hans Capon is jealous, miserable, and hopelessly in love, and Henry makes him talk about it, not knowing he's the person to blame for all the trouble.

Seeing Henry chatting up wenches had made Hans’s chest twist, though he simply believed it to be jealousy. Why would any wench be interested in a commoner and a blacksmith’s apprentice when there was a noble right at his side? A real blue blooded man, one that could treat her just right without the fear of attachment. A night of bliss followed by pure ignorance.
But when it was a man Henry was chatting up it just felt… different. Or rather, it felt scarily similar.
