He looked up to find that Katsuki was still looking right at him, and it was the first time he’d really looked him in the eyes. He hadn’t thought they were this… red.
Izuku blinked, and too much happened all at once. He caught a glimpse up at the skyline, and the strangest thing had happened- the trees had changed colors. Now there were dots of a new color. Not the deep brown, and icy blue, and dark red he’d seen until now. Something new and vibrant and he didn’t know the name for it yet. But… that was it. Nothing else had changed.
“What the hell, Deku?”
“Kachan that’s a bad word.”~~~

Eijiro let out a low whistle through his teeth. “Alright, or maybe it’s not.” A moment later, he plopped down right next to Katsuki, leaning back against the railing to look at him. He nudged Katsuki’s knee with his own and left it there. “What’s up?”

Mirio almost wanted to laugh at how childish it made him look.
“Whatever’s happened to Midoriya, he isn’t going to be the same anymore, and I doubt he’d be able to help with what you need- want from him.”
