Summary
One cannot define grief as a solid entity; It shifts and changes like the tide, rising and falling, waxing and waning. Its unexpectedness rips off a layer of one's life like a band-aid, and an exposed underbelly is never pretty. J is no exception.

Summary
Become reborn anew with me. And I'll do my best to keep us safe. But please, don't hide. I need to see. Otherwise I'll lose you and myself.
---
Caine tosses Ragatha and Pomni in what he deems an 'abstract' adventure that the two of them will have to figure out what that means. And also see the deepest, ugliest parts of themselves.

Summary
A tackle-hug in a crater, an impromptu sleepover, an anime marathon at 3 AM, and the slow horrible realization that you've gotten attached to the monster under the bed. What could be worse? Maybe that the monster might be choosing, very carefully, to be soft for you.
Pure fluff with a hint of angst. The dynamic is somewhat unexplained, but just trust the process.
