Steve needs a new car and stumbles upon a beautiful, cherry red 1967 Chevy Impala. The dealer says it's not for sale, but Steve uses some of that signature Harrington charm to talk him into it. Sweet new ride, what could go wrong?
Then the lights start flickering. The radio comes on by itself, playing God-awful music even with the volume turned down. When the car starts speaking to him, Steve worries he's going crazy.
With help from his friends, Steve begins to investigate what, or who, is possessing his car and find out the truth about what happened.
Robin wants to hold a séance; the voice wants revenge.
Steve just wants a car that isn't going to talk back.

But then Eddie Munson comes along and Steve wants to try for him, to get all dolled up for his first real crush in what feels like forever. He sees the way Eddie looks at him and he pretends to be innocently oblivious, because it feels so good to be the one pined over for the first time since high school.
Steve knows Eddie wants him, and it’s just harmless fun, right? Eddie doesn’t know that Steve wants him as more than a friend and a pair of hands in the dark, doesn’t know that Steve’s getting caught up in his feelings alongside his fantasies.
