   Summary

   None of us really realize how often deaths fingertips brush our cheeks like a cool breeze as we walk past the alleyways of our home town. Travis had always felt like he never stopped grieving, like those wives from the 1800s would after their husbands died. He could be grieving a lot of things, his mom's death, his childhood, his innocence. It's time to stop looking in the mirror and start looking forward.

   Summary

   Travis didn't really want to see him at all. He'd made his life a living hell, but it was Sally Face, and for some Goddamn reason, Sally Face never gave up. He couldn't tell if he hated it or not.

   Sal was determined to be his friend, even if it would take tooth and nail. He didn't know had been going on with Travis, but he wanted to be the one person Travis could confide in. Maybe it was selfishness, or maybe it was something else; he didn't know. No, he didn't know, but he'd find out.
