He surely didn’t need the fuzzy packets of warmth, but he had them. Undoubtedly, he had them for her. Sydney would complain about her constant cold fingers and dry knuckles often, she shouldn’t have been surprised Carmy wasn’t just listening but cataloging the facts about her into some place in his brain. And yet—
It made her ache, to be thought of like that.
