They locked eyes when Makki turned around to respond, and an awkward “was that a gay moment?” silence filled the space. He coughed and piped up with a joke right as Issei's mind was about to slip into the gutter.
“...And it looks like you skipped leg day, Issei.” He gasped overdramatically and they laughed it off as they walked into Makki’s room, shutting the door behind them with a soft thud.

“No one’s here to sabotage you, House.” Wilson put his hands on his hips, his really snatched hips as the apron was tied on way too tight. “In fact I’m more worried you’re trying to sabotage someone else.”
“So you decided to stand over me and watch my exquisite baking skills whilst your cake is burning?” House questioned smugly.
Wilson paused for a second, then a painful realisation set in his face. He turned not so swiftly and ran towards his oven. Opening it clumsily, he inspected the cake in the tin. It wasn’t even half cooked yet.

“I mean, yeah, that’s a given,” he huffs. Then, a little quieter, a little less assured: “You don’t think we’ll come back here again?”
