Summary
Ultimately, he sighs and raises his hands in defeat, eyes locked on the wall. “Perhaps we could… come to an agreement.” For once, it’s the elf who dons the sheepish expression, and if Karlach didn’t know any better, she’d think he were about to stumble over his next words. “If it’s for you, Karlach… I may not mind that much.”
She can’t help the flames that ignite almost instantaneously, excitement drowning her in heat. Karlach flinches at her own reaction, backing away from Astarion almost instinctively. “Ah, shit, sorry— Yes. Yes, please. I would—I would like that very much.”
Astarion scoffs and shakes his head, entertained by the ease with which anyone can lift her spirits. “Fine. Just… Don’t tell anyone about this, got it? Or you’re dead.”
