Swallowing, knowing he shouldn’t, Kei steps even closer. They’re within touching distance. He’s within touching distance, of Kuroo’s bare chest. “How about now?”
“Yeah,” says Kuroo, strangely husky. “That’s better.” His eyes are on Kei’s face. He, too, seems aware of their privacy, their closeness.
Kei makes one last effort. “Wow,” he says, turning to look at the rain. “It’s really–” Thunder interrupts him, loud and close. “–um, intense,” he finishes.
“Oh for god’s sake. Tsukki. Can we stop talking about the weather?”
