Summary
Pretty OOC. Came up with this while half asleep on sedatives. One betaing and some heavy editing later we have this. Robby is not nice here I'm sorry I should write fluff to make up for it. I might not.
Was thinking about the locker room scene in 1x9 and how the actors said they had stunt coordinators there in case it got physical.
Here, it got physical. With consequences.

Summary
He told Mikey he wouldn't touch another pill for as long as he lived, something he's sure the guy has heard from every passing person who's entered inpatient, sat in those hard unforgiving metal chairs. They probably stopped keeping a tally of how many showed back up again with the same solemn promise as if they forgot they already broke it the first time.
Addiction is a constant fight, where the opponent learns how to lose more than they'll ever win. Relapse expected, it's just how it goes.
Frank just has a devastating reason to be so terribly certain he won't.
In the aftermath of a harsh sober reality, Dr. Frank Langdon returns to The Pitt to face whatever mess he left behind while trying not to fray apart at the seams.

Summary
Usually there would be somebody checking in on Dennis at least. If not Robby, then Samira, Mel or Trinity. Today though Robby was more occupied with avoiding Dr. Langdon than anything else, Samira was in a bad mood, Mel was distracted and now Trinity was mad at him. Which left Dennis more or less on his own, a horrifying reality for somebody who was barely even a doctor.
By the time he remembered to check on Louie it was just a bit longer than he’d have liked, but not enough to cause any panic. He was still checking more often than protocol necessitated, and Louie had been nothing but stable all day.
Had.
“Which senior-resident did you report to for this case?” Robby was pulling off his gloves with too much force. There was a snapping-sound as the second one tore.
“I- I don’t think there was one.”

I have to say it’s not very common to see that Landon is going on well with Whitaker. Usually they fight a lot, isn’t it? It’s more like a really teacher-student relationship in this article..
