Dearest Readers,
Many of you are familiar with the stories published by Dr. John H Watson about his adventures with Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Most readers are unable to tell if they’re enraptured by the mystery or by the undecipherable detective. Their stories are so otherworldly that when they are recognized by the public, people are shocked that they in fact inhabit the same streets as the common man. But, their lives are not unlike our own. We all have secrets. Things we indulge in the dark. Things we hide for fear it would be taken away. To Holmes and Watson, that very thing happened on the morning of the Eighteenth of March when there was an abduction on Baker Street.

Steve came back.
Bucky couldn’t believe his eyes as he saw him standing on the platform. Everyone but them smiled, proud of another successful mission, satisfied they didn’t lose Captain America to the quantum realm. But Bucky knew what Steve sought to do, and wondered what could’ve ever stopped him…surely nothing could’ve ever changed his mind.
Steve turns to him with a warm smile covering his face. How many years could it have been? A soft sense of betrayal bubbles deep within him, “What are you doing here?”
Sam and Bruce’s celebration dies the moment those words leave his mouth. Steve turns to them and asks for some space as he steps down the platform. He leaves behind a leather suitcase where he had been standing.
“Let’s go for a walk.”

Summary
Ennis had to put up his own mailbox, he didn’t know his way around a mailed coupon, but a part of him still waits for something special in there. Something that he’s sure will never come again.
So the box sits there, collecting dust and bleaching in the sunlight. He prays to Jack every night he’s not too boozed up and zoning out to the radio. He spends today washing all his clothes, Junior’s wedding is coming up and she wants to spend a weekend with her dad before the big day. She figured she'd spend time with her daddy before she goes on and has a family of her own.
He sighs, they grow up so fucking fast. He sees dust kick up on the horizon out his window. Drying his hands he heads out the door to wave to his daughter. Although it wasn’t her car, it was the mail truck.
