Summary
Some nights John is content to share Arthur's body. He can find peace in his steady breathing, his mind wandering as he finds comfort in his heart beat. Some nights he can even pretend that he might drift to sleep alongside him, imagining himself a human body that can be held and a mind that can dream.
This is not one of those nights.

Summary
“Give me your hand,” he instructed, low enough so as not to wake Arthur.
Obediently, John did so. He didn’t know what he’d been expecting, but, whatever it was, it wasn’t something light and somewhat soft being slipped over his wrist. A few adjustments later the mystery item was snug against his skin, not too tight and not too loose.
"There. How does it feel?”
John reached over to tap his reply. What, exactly, is ‘it’?
Noel laughed, the sound rumbling off the walls. “A bracelet.”

Summary
Drifts of snow have collected on either side of us, likely a result of the repeated shoveling of this path. Lampposts rise high overhead, each bubble of luminescence bobbing into the distance like a glowing paper chain. Garland hangs between them, as well as the front of the bridge steadily approaching. We’ve passed quite a few people, men and women huddled together on benches, speaking conspiratorially or…
John trailed off.
“Or?” Arthur prompted once a few seconds of silence had passed.
He didn’t respond.
“What? Too awestruck?”
There came a low hum, tinged with the puzzlement John’s voice carried when he did not fully understand what he was looking at. However, before Arthur could prod him for answers, he spoke.
Do people often kiss on Christmas Eve?
